Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of betterbasslessons.com (the “Site”) and any products, courses, books, or services offered by Better Bass Lessons, doing business as Better Bass Lessons (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or purchasing any product or service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make a purchase. By using the Site you represent that you meet this requirement.
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
All sales of courses, books, and digital content are subject to the descriptions and terms presented at checkout. Access to digital products is granted to you as a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, resell, or share access to purchased content with anyone else.
Refund eligibility for each product is described on the product page or in the purchase confirmation. If you have a question about a refund, contact us at [email protected].
All content on the Site — including method books, course videos, written exercises, audio examples, and the Site design — is owned by Better Bass Lessons or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission, except for reasonable personal use of materials you have legitimately purchased.
We operate a US-based text-message (SMS/MMS) program through which Better Bass Lessons may send you messages on a recurring basis. By providing your mobile number on our opt-in form and checking the corresponding consent box(es), you agree to receive text messages from Better Bass Lessons in the categories you consented to:
Transactional and account-notification messages: order confirmations, course-access delivery, password resets, lesson reminders, and replies to support inquiries you initiated.
Marketing messages: announcements about new courses, new books, and limited-time enrollment windows for cohort programs.
You are not required to consent to either category as a condition of any purchase. The two consent checkboxes on our opt-in form are independent and optional.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to the number from which you receive our messages, or to [SMS BUSINESS PHONE NUMBER ONCE ASSIGNED]. After you send STOP, we will send you a final message confirming you have unsubscribed and you will receive no further SMS messages from us until you re-subscribe. Carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to the effective transmission from your wireless service provider/network operator and is outside of our control.
Message frequency varies. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive up to twelve (12) messages per month per consent category, although typical volume is lower. Contact your wireless provider for information about your message and data plan.
Your privacy matters. Information you provide through the SMS program and elsewhere on the Site is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://betterbasslessons.com/privacy-policy. Please read it carefully.
The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Better Bass Lessons, its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or any product or service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Better Bass Lessons and its representatives from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, products, or services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Queens County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the Site after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
